What is the difference between CANS & TINS?
Why are Cans Calle Tins?
People call these empty cans “cans” that date back to the late 20th century. Back then, cans were made from tin-plated steel to combine the strength and affordability of steel with the corrosion resistance of tin.
Why is tin used for cans?
Tin’s basic refining process makes it attractive for manufacturing. Tin also doesn’t trust easily, so it’s useful for cans. A modern can is a steel coated with a skinny layer of tin to prevent rusting.
